1. Who we are
Vidcoo is operated by Ultimate Viral Videos LLC, 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #20411, Casper, Wyoming 82609, US (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For anything privacy-related, email lahcen@ultimateviralvideos.com.
The service does one thing: you upload a short-form video (60 seconds or less), we analyze it with AI, and you get a scored report with recommendations. This policy explains exactly what data that involves.
2. Data we collect
Account data
- Your email address.
- If you sign in with Google: your name and the email address of your Google account. We never see or store your Google password.
Content you upload
- The video files you submit for analysis.
- Data derived from them during analysis: an audio track, a transcript, and a small number of still frames extracted as evidence for your report.
- The generated report and its scores.
Anti-abuse data
- A device fingerprint hash: a one-way hash derived from basic browser characteristics. We use it solely to enforce the one-free-analysis-per-person limit and to prevent abuse of the service. It is not used for advertising, is not used to track you across other sites, and is never shared with anyone.
- A cryptographic hash of each uploaded file, used to detect the same video being resubmitted for additional free analyses. The hash cannot be turned back into the video.
Payment data
When paid plans launch, payments will be processed by our payment provider. Your card details go directly to them and are never stored on our servers. We receive only what we need to run your subscription: plan, payment status, and a customer reference.
Cookies
A single strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you signed in. See section 8.
We do not collect anything else. There is no free-text input in the product, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics trackers.
3. How we use your data, and on what legal basis
- To provide the service — store your upload, run the analysis, generate and show your report, manage your credits. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- To prevent fraud and abuse — enforce the free-tier limit via the device fingerprint hash and file hash, block duplicate or abusive submissions, and keep the service secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of a service that costs us money per analysis.
- To communicate with you — service emails about your account or analyses. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
- To comply with the law — where we are legally required to process or disclose data. Legal basis: legal obligation.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles.
4. AI processing and subprocessors
Your video is analyzed by third-party AI processors acting on our instructions:
- Anthropic — analyzes the transcript and selected video frames to produce the scores and recommendations in your report.
- Deepgram — transcribes the audio track of your video.
Both operate under data-processing terms that do not permit them to train their models on your content. They receive only what the analysis requires (audio, transcript, frames) and are bound to process it solely to deliver the analysis.
5. How long we keep your data
- Uploaded video files and extracted audio: deleted automatically within 24 hours of analysis. Temporary working files are deleted as soon as the analysis finishes.
- Reports and evidence frames (a handful of small stills per video): kept in your account until you delete the report or your account.
- Account data (email, credits, fingerprint hash): kept while your account exists, deleted when the account is deleted.
6. Who we share data with — and what we never do
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA). We share data only with:
- The AI subprocessors in section 4, to run your analysis.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, to run the service.
- Our payment provider, once paid plans launch.
- Authorities, if legally compelled — and only the minimum the law requires.
7. International transfers
Our infrastructure and subprocessors may process data in the United States and other countries outside your own. Where data leaves the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, we rely on recognized safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
8. Cookies
We set one cookie: a signed, httpOnly session cookie that keeps you logged in. It is strictly necessary for the service to function, so it does not require consent. We use no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics cookies, and no tracking pixels. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first and consent will be asked where required.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Uploads and reports live in private storage that is never publicly accessible; report images are served only to the logged-in owner of the report. Sessions use signed, httpOnly cookies. Access to production data is restricted, and API keys are isolated from anything that reaches your browser.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Delete your account and data.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of them, email lahcen@ultimateviralvideos.com from the address on your account. We respond within the time the applicable law requires (30 days under GDPR, extendable where the law allows). If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Children
The service is not directed at children and is not for anyone under 13 — or under 16 where local law sets that age for consenting to data processing. If we learn we hold data on a child below the applicable age, we delete it.
12. Data breaches
If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities without undue delay, as applicable law requires, and tell you what happened, what data was involved, and what we are doing about it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the product before they take effect.
